Short Black Cafe

Went to this restaurant at 1pm on a Friday afternoon and it was absolutely packed. Luckily their were a few seats left for my mother and myself.
Temperature was right and it had a nice ambience, but toilets were very cramped.
Staff came out promptly to give us a menu and take our orders, and didn't mind talking to us for a few minutes.

I ordered a caramel milkshake which tasted delicious and fresh and my mother enjoyed her tomato juice. For lunch I ordered the chicken parmigiana and my mother ordered the antipasto platter. Food came out in less than ten minutes, which I was please about. My parmigiana was tender and also came with chips and a leafy salad. The antipasto platter was very well presented with a large assortment of different items.

Antipasto Platter - $15.5
salt & pepper calamari, semi dried tomato, roast caps, olives, dips, prosciutto & bread

Chicken Parmagiana - $19.9
crumbed breast of chicken w ham, napoli sauce, mozzarella w salad & fries
